Full Projects

Full projects are films ranging from 5 to 30 minutes that are delivered on a menu driven DVD or via the internet.

Your basic ideas can be developed, shot, edited and authored with as much advice and creative input as you need or want. The copyright to music and basic motion graphics are owned and licenced for use in your film. You own the copyright to the film.

For most evidencing and promotional films it is recommended to not make them longer than 10 to 12 minutes, although the choice is yours.

Editing

It is possible for video footage and still images you already have to be placed over a newly recorded voice-over creating an evidencing film or presentation video from material already owned. This will help reduce costs.

A good example of this is the City Student Union Elections film where they had some video material and still images and we recorded the voice over and edited everything together.

Talking Head Informational Video

Oxleas NHS required a quick and inexpensive way of imparting information to clients/colleagues via video, leading to a series of clips using graphics, music, voice over and talking head interviews which proved to be effective and engaging. An example of this will be online soon.

Annual Report

Using the menu element of DVD authoring it is possible to collate a short film, written text and slide shows onto a DVD offering a different and dynamic way of presenting an annual report or training manual which includes the high-impact of seeing positive testimonials from service users.

The Rosebowl Youth Club in Islington have chosen to use DVDs for two of their annual reports as the overall cost was comparable to the printing costs of creating a paper report and it offered something extra in terms of engagement with the report.

DVD Duplication/Replication

None of the films are encrypted and should you wish to duplicate them yourselves or find an alternative vendor for duplication then please feel free to. We do offer duplication on DVD-Rs with full colour printed DVD faces and clear cases. DVD-Rs play on the majority of DVD players.

DVD Replication utilises a glass disc template and ensures the DVDs will play on all DVD players, but is more expensive and quite considerably so for smaller runs. Replication can be considered starting from runs of 500 although runs of 1000 are more advisable for a minimum run.

Bespoke Animation/Graphics

Should you wish to use Bespoke motion animation or graphics then this can be delivered. For this service we work in conjunction with another company whom we trust and whose work is of a suitably high standard. For samples of their work please visit www.den75.co.uk

Prices will always vary slightly from project to project, but as a rough idea previous full projects of 10 to 12 minutes have ranged from £2000 to £3000. Longer full films of 15 to 20 minutes have ranged from £3500 to £5000. Editing projects have ranged from £350 to £1000. The talking heads project delivered 5 pieces of 4 to 7 minutes in length for £750.

Duplication is £2.50 per unit for smaller runs and £2 per unit for up to 200.

Delivery for the internet is included in the price, just state your prefered format(s), and no additional costs will be incurred should the project take longer than initially expected.

We are happy to accomodate the filming of events/locations which may need attending a few times for short periods, and/or clients of not-for-profit organisations who may not be readily available as well as whatever little changes and alterations are desired after the main draft is delivered. Ultimately we really do want you to be happy with the finished project (our creative egos won't accept anything less). That said, although the goalposts can be moved a bit, if we start playing a different sport then we'd have to sit down and discuss things.
